Udaipur

I think Udaipur got me with just one picture of the lake.

The water, the white palaces, the mountains in the background and that warm evening light… every time I see it, I think about how beautiful it must be to actually sit there instead of looking at it through my phone.

I don't think I would want to plan too much.

We could wake up and decide what we feel like doing. Explore the city, take a boat out on the lake, stop somewhere for lunch… or order another coffee and stay exactly where we are for a little longer.

And in the evening, I definitely want an excuse to take one of my favourite dresses out of the suitcase.

Jaipur

Jaipur makes me want to pack a suitcase immediately.

The colours, the palaces, the little architectural details everywhere… I already know I would keep stopping because I had found something else I wanted to look at or photograph.

And I would definitely bring too many dresses.

I would love to spend the day discovering Jaipur with you, walking around places we have both only seen in pictures and trying things we did not plan.

Then back to the hotel, shower, music on, and far too much time deciding what I want to wear for dinner.

That sounds like a very good day to me.
